In 1843, Hans Christian Andersen published The Ugly Duckling. It is his best known tale and the most misread: the hero never changes, he was always a swan. What changes is the mirror.
The duvet in this set is made of Danish duck down, by the same maker that has worked with fine down since 1947. It was no coincidence that the bird and the tale found each other: the whole line is named after H.C. Andersen, and every duvet carries the name of a story.
Here it wears Forest Green, a deep woodland green with no hint of mint. The cover is slightly smaller than the duvet, on purpose, so it always looks full and stays in place through the night. Concealed zip, sewn in the state of São Paulo.
The box also holds a White pillowcase, as a gift. Next to the green one, it is the end of the tale: the duckling who was a swan.
